  • Homeschool Classes

    Ages 6+ & Teens

    Hands-on woodworking for homeschoolers ages 6+. Build real projects, learn practical skills, and grow confidence and creativity in a supportive shop environment.

  • Little Builders

    Ages 4 - 6

    A step up with real, kid safe tools. Kids follow a build start to finish and take home two projects they made with thei own hands.

  • Junior Makers

    Ages 7 - 11

    Real tools, real projects, real problem-solving. Kids measure, cut, assemble and finish their own work while building independence at the bench.

  • Woodshop Apprentices

    Ages 12+

    Longer classes for older kids ready to level up. More advanced projects, proper tool & safety skills, and room to bring their own ideas.

  • Maker's Studio

    Ages 14+

    For experienced builders who’ve earned their indepence. They design and drive their own projects, with a mentor on hand when they need it.

  • Carving Level 1

    Ages 12 +

    A seven-class introduction to wood carving for ages 12+, including an Opinel No. 8 knife, safety glove, materials and up to four projects.

A little more info about Teen Classes

Our teen woodworking classes are designed to grow with their skills and confidence. Students begin with directed, hands-on instruction, learning shop safety, proper tool use, and essential woodworking techniques while completing guided projects.

As their experience grows, they can progress into Maker’s Studio (ages 14+), where the focus shifts to independence and creativity. Makers can design and plan their own projects, choose their materials and tools, problem-solve along the way, and build at their own pace — with guidance and support available when they need it.

Most materials are included. Additional costs may apply for epoxy projects, larger builds, specialty hardwoods, or other higher-cost materials.

It’s a progression from learning how to use the shop to making the shop their own.

*Please note - We do accept work experience students with a resume and interview. We also provide volunteer opportunities for teens to help boost their resumes for future part-time jobs.
