Discovery Camp – A Summer Camp Partnership with The Builder’s Den & Studio 35

Get ready for a summer camp experience unlike any other!

Discovery Camp combines hands-on woodworking and creative making at The Builder’s Den with movement, creativity, and circus arts at Studio 35 for an exciting full-day camp experience.

Campers will split their day between both locations and enjoy the best of both worlds—building with their hands and moving their bodies.

At The Builder’s Den, campers will:
• Learn woodworking and maker skills in a real community workshop
• Safely explore age-appropriate hand and power tools
• Build projects they get to take home
• Measure, design, sand, assemble, decorate, and problem solve
• Create projects such as woodworking builds, games, gifts, decor, and other creative challenges
• Develop confidence, independence, and maker skills

At Studio 35, campers will:
• Explore circus arts and movement activities
• Try skills such as balance, coordination, juggling, aerial activities, and creative movement (activities may vary)
• Participate in games, challenges, and team-building activities
• Build confidence and body awareness
• Learn in a fun, encouraging environment where trying new things is celebrated

Together, campers will experience:
• A balance of active and creative learning
• Indoor movement and hands-on building
• New friendships and teamwork
• Confidence building and trying new skills
• A full day that keeps kids engaged and excited

• Ages: 7–12
• Full-day camp experience
• August 10–14
• $325 +GST
• Woodworking projects included
• No previous experience needed

Summer Day Camps at The Builder’s Den

Spend your summer building, creating, and making something you are proud to bring home.

The Builder’s Den Summer Day Camps are hands-on woodworking camps designed for kids who love to create, explore, and try something new. Campers will learn real woodworking skills in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment while completing projects they get to keep.

Throughout the week, campers will learn how to safely use age-appropriate tools, build confidence, solve problems, and bring their ideas to life through woodworking and making.

Projects vary based on age, skill level, and interests, but may include items such as tool totes, birdhouses, games, decor, gifts, beginner woodworking projects, and creative builds.

Camp Details:
• Ages: 6+
• Monday–Friday
• $225 +GST per week
• Projects included to take home
• Small group sizes
• No experience necessary
